Sweeping Views Atop Scotts Head, Dominica
Of all the amazing views you can enjoy in Dominica, it is the ones at Scotts Head that thrill me the most.
Here, atop the small volcanic dome at the southernmost tip of Dominica, the colorful roofs, buildings, and boats of the village add a nice touch of seasoning to the unique natural beauty – the narrow, naturally formed tombolo separating the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.

If you have a 4×4 vehicle, you can drive to the top of Scotts Head, though the walk isn’t much of a strain at all. It takes as little as 10-15 minutes and rewards you all the way…

At the top, meager remnants of an old fort add a slight touch of history.

In the end, though, the real satisfaction here comes from simply looking around and taking it all in…
