Sunset Bay Sunset – Soak in the Serenity of Dominica
A Sunset Bay sunset is many excellent things. Luckily, I can clearly remember the feeling of experiencing the sunset captured in the video below.
For one thing, it was warm. The last rays of sunshine on another day exploring Dominica poured over me as I sat on the seawall of Sunset Bay Beach Club overlooking the sands of Sunset Bay.
I’d spent the day driving from the north of the island all the way down to Scotts Head in the south. Along the way, I’d made stops at Emerald Pool, roadside vendors, and beach bars. I’d run my toes through black sandy beaches, hiked through thick rainforests, and knocked back a Kubuli or two.
For all these reasons and more, this sunset was also special. Being the icing on the cake of a day well spent exploring one of my favorite islands, any time I take a look at this video I’m instantly and pleasantly transported back.
And finally, this sunset, like so many that paint the cliffs and sands of Sunset Bay daily, was gorgeous. See for yourself in the video below and soak in the serenity of Dominica.
We all have those sunsets that will be with us forever. I feel pretty lucky to have captured this one so I can relive it over and over again whenever I can’t be in Dominica.
