We wondered, before arriving in STX in mid-December, just three months after Hurricane Maria, if the St Croix beaches had rebounded as yet.

It's our first trip back to our home island of St. Croix in just over three years, and really, it could not have come at a better time.

It's a little strange seeing it this way... Orient Beach, St. Martin, completely devoid of any and all signs of beachy fun accoutrements.

No matter where you might roam in The Bahamas, you'll find gin-clear waters that are obviously intoxicating in their own special way.
