Imagine staying at a seaside villa, never going to the beach, and being happy about it. That uncommon emotion awaits you at Poet Reef.

Yellow poinciana trees (aka: flamboyant trees) are as stunning a representation of Mother Nature's true majesty as we have in the Caribbean.

This was the scene yesterday, soaring high above The Bahamas en route to Saint Croix. The occasion, though, was not all fun and games.

The Fort Frederik cannons never saw any combat duty. That, however, doesn't mean that they served no purpose.

Dragons do not play prominently in Caribbean mythology. One exception, Ayida-Weddo, though, echoes throughout Dragon Cay in Middle Caicos.

Salt Whistle Bay is what my escapist dreams are made of. Contrary to its name, though, it's not a bay. Oh yeah, and it's for sale. 

There exist roads in some places that are more mystical pathways than simple thoroughfares. Mahogany Road on Saint Croix is one of them.

When most beautiful, awe-inspiring things come to an end, it usually brings sadness. Not in the case of sunsets.

My Saint Thomas dream home. In the ofttimes that I allow myself to think of moving back to the Caribbean, I envision myself living here.
