The first Dragon Cay sunrise that the wife and I experienced was just all kinds of awe-inspiring thanks in large part to a bunch of clouds.

Marvelous Middle Caicos more than satisfies uncommon travel desires, nowhere more spectacularly than Dragon Cay Resort. 

Views of Dragon Cay alone are worth a visit to Mudjin Bar and Grille in Middle Caicos. Lunch here is pretty special too.

Carved by the sea over the centuries, the Mudjin Harbour Caves are among the more striking features of the seaside cliffs in Middle Caicos.

Trekking out to Pelican Cay in Middle Caicos would be the ultimate adventure of our trip, though I can understand if you're not impressed.

It's not Rio Camuy (Puerto Rico) or Grotte Marie Jeanne (Haiti), but the Conch Bar Caves do offer surprising bit of soft adventuring that's 180-degrees from the usual beach 'n chill pursuits so common in TCI.

Inside the Middle Caicos Co-op you'll find all manner of hand-crafted goods – hats, baskets, paintings, bracelets, placemats; all of it celebrating the cultural heritage of the Turks and Caicos Islands. It's all great, but the thing that most caught my attention were the model sailboats.

Having most any beach in the Caribbean all to yourself is marvelous enough. When said beach is Mudjin Harbour, it doesn't get any better.

Dragon Cay's close proximity to the beach enticed me to trek out to her, if only just to have her sandy shores all to myself.
